Musical History

Ronnie was born in Dundee, Scotland and has a great love of Celtic music.

Ronnie has been part of many bands over the years

Including full steam ahead ( A country/rock band )Featured on City tv.

The band was a popular circuit band in the Toronto area for year spawning the single “Lovin Lies”written by Ronnie.

Ronnie also performed with the Dirt Dogs band from Burlington,Ontario where they performed at the Burlington Sound Of Music festival and at The Oakville Canada day celebrations as well as numerous charity events and private corporate events.

The single “Take it Slow Take it Easy “was recorded  at the famous Metalworks studio and performed by the band all around the Greater Toronto area.

Ronnie then joined Sandy MacIntyres  band which was a popular East Coast themed band.

The combination of great fiddle music and classic East Coast music made the band a must see attraction.

Ronnie then moved to the Niagara area and started his musical journey there including a new CD entitled “Cape Breton my home by the sea” a collection of original songs written and performed by Ronnie and produced and recorded by renowned Toronto musician Tom Leighton.

The CD has a following in Cape Breton and has been featured on K-Lee radio Baddeck and on the popular “Cape Breton Calling “hosted by Tony Mombourquette

an avid supporter of East Coast Music.

Ronnie has been fortunate over the years to have played with so many wonderful musicians including John Mcdermott, Tom Leighton, Stuart Cameron, Sandy MacIntyre just to name a few.

Ronnie is looking forward to his future endeavors and would like to thank all those people who supported his music over the years and he looks forward to performing and meeting new people in the future.
